Khama Billiat set for ‘big money’ Hardrock move

Scottland star Khama Billiat is set for a ‘big money’ move to Hardrock next season, Fanzone has established.

The former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns star, arguably one of the most talented footballers Zimbabwe has ever witnessed, joined Scottland FC at the beginning of last season and won the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title under Tonderai Ndiraya.

Billiat has been central to Scottland FC’s charge again this year. He has 11 goals to his name and is the club’s leading scorer, sitting joint-third in the league alongside Dynamos’ Frank Agyemang.

He has also helped Scottland reach the quarterfinals of both the Chibuku Super Cup and the Munhumutapa Challenge Cup, and played a key role in their maiden CAF Champions League campaign.

Billiat’s contract with Scottland expires on December 31, 2026, and Hardrock will be his new home for next season and beyond.

A source at Hardrock told Fanzone that the nimble-footed former Warriors star will soon agree personal terms and sign a pre-contract with the Kasongo Boys.

“Khama (Billiat) is coming to Hardrock, that is a move that has already been finalised. We are not going to rush anything so as to respect the remaining months of his Scottland contract,” said the source.

“It’s going to be a big money move, befitting for a player of Billiat’s stature. You will know the details when the time comes.”

Hardrock are currently breathing down Scottland’s neck in the title race. They sit on 57 points, one behind the champions with six games remaining.

The Kwekwe outfit have also been busy in the market, already securing Highlanders FC sensation Mongameli Tshuma for the 2027 season.
