Miracle Boys perched on top as week 9 beckons

Yadah Football Club rule the roost in the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League after Week 8, opening a three-point gap at the summit with 20 points from 8 games.
The Miracle Boys’ 4-1 win over FC Wangu Mazodze two days ago made it 6 wins, 2 draws, and 0 defeats, giving them the league’s best attack with 14 goals and joint-best defense with just 3 conceded.
They’re not alone in staying unbeaten though. Masvingo United FC and Green Fuel FC are the other two sides yet to taste defeat after 8 matches.
Masvingo sit 5th on 14 points with 3 wins and 5 draws, while Green Fuel FC sit third.
That defensive resilience will be tested as the race heats up.
Week 9 kicks off tomorrow with the Pacific Storm Game of the Month at the Green Fuel Arena, where Green Fuel FC host Bikita Chida Athletic Club at 15:00.
Third-placed Green Fuel will be desperate to bounce back after dropping points last week, but Bikita Chida will arrive with nothing to lose as they chase their second win of the season.
