‘If we win four more games, we are done’ – Yadah coach Masaraure

Yadah FC coach Kudakwashe Masaraure says four more wins will seal the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League title after his side opened a seven-point lead at the top with a 2-0 win over Africa Mineral Ventures FC in the Week 32 curtain-raiser at Vengere Stadium on Friday afternoon.
Gift Saunyama fired the log leaders ahead from the spot in the 16th minute after Yadah were awarded a penalty, before ageless Allen Gahadzikwa sealed maximum points for the Miracle Boys to take them to 69 points.
The win marked the start of the Match Week 32 fixtures and consolidated Yadah’s charge towards the Premiership.Speaking to Fanzone after the crucial away victory, Masaraure was full of praise for his charges and respectful of the opposition.
“Alright, this win boosts us. You see, AMV is not a small team, it’s a big team. So if you come here and collect three points, I think it’s okay for us. This is a game they were also looking forward to. So on our side, we are okay with that win,” he said.
With the league entering its final homestretch, the Miracle Boys gaffer has already done the math.Asked about the run-in with six games now left including their game in hand, he was bullish:
“Yes, we have six games because we have one game in hand. So out of those six games from now, I’m targeting at least four games. I think if we win four games, we are done. We are done,” added
Masaraure.Elsewhere, second-placed Deportivo La Murambinda, on 62 points, travel to Chisumbanje tomorrow for a date against fourth-placed Green Fuel in a must-win clash to keep pace with the log leaders.
In the other game, third-placed Tenax CS FC suffered a blow in the title race after they were held to a 1-1 stalemate by relegation-threatened FC Wangu Mazodze.
