Kaindu: Hardrock have shown character of champions, deserve PSL title

Hardrock FC coach Kevin Kaindu has for the first time admitted his side has shown the character of champions and deserve to win the PSL title.
Throughout the season, Kaindu has stuck to his line that Hardrock are just a team from the first division fighting to maintain their PSL status.
However, after navigating what he described as their toughest consecutive fixtures at a crucial stage of the season, Kaindu says his team can now ask for nothing less than the league title.
“If we are able to play two difficult games and win it at the end against Dynamos, at the end against MWOS, what else would we ask? What else would we ask?” Kaindu said.
Hardrock opened an eight-point lead over Scottland FC following a dramatic 3-2 comeback win over MWOS FC. The result was a big statement of character, coming from two goals down to collect maximum points at home, proving they are champions in the making.

Focus for Hardrock now shifts to the Chibuku Super Cup semi-final where they face FC Hunters. They will be aiming to account for the scalp of FC Hunters to ensure they make it through to the final, which will be played at Chahwanda Stadium, their home ground.
The fixture will be significant as it will be the first major final to be played at their home venue. More significantly, it will be the first match in Zimbabwe to have the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system. Hence Hardrock need to reach the final to make sure it is a befitting scenario for the club.
In the league, Hardrock approach their clash against Simba Bhora FC high in spirits, with a win potentially sealing the title depending on how Scottland fare in their two games in hand against Chicken Inn and CAPS United.
