7 million jokes! Dynamos show Mangombe the exit door under comical circumstances

Once again, and probably not for the last time, Dynamos has shown its potential to become the most chaotic institution in world football.
The Harare giants shocked even their own fans when they announced that head coach Genesis ‘Kaka’ Mangombe, had been suspended.
The DeMbare leadership laid on the table several accusations, chief among them insubordination, use of juju and sensationally —match fixing.
“Your suspension is due to the following reasons: a.
Insubordination – it is alleged that on Thursday 18 June 2026 at Glamis Arena you were summoned to attend a post- training technical meeting after the team’s training session,” reads the letter by the Dynamos executive, addressed to Mangombe.
“During the said meeting, you were advised of some of the allegations that had been made against you by the goalkeeper, Idrissou Nfor Finiar, who alleged that you are forcing players to bath in juju before games.
“Similar allegations had been previously raised against you by Christopher Netty, Dynamos senior players through their captain and Stanley Billiart, who also alleged that if a player refused to bath in juju as per your directive, they would not
be allowed to play on matchday.
“You allegedly disrespected members of the Dynamos Executive Committee who were talking to you during that
post-training technical meeting by challenging them, showing disregard of their authority.”
On match fixing, Dynamos allege that Mangombe “would either lose or at least draw matches.’

Mangombe returned to Dynamos at the beginning of the 2026 season following the coming in on board, of the Vincent Chawonza-led executive.
The former Yadah coach led DeMbare to seven victories in their 18 matches of the season so far, drawing nine and losing only two.
Under Mangombe, Dynamos boasted of the joint second best attack in the league, having netted 27 goals, the same number as defending champions and current log leaders Scottland.
Only Hardrock (28) have scored more goals than Dynamos this season.
Crucially, Dynamos, at this stage last season, were languishing in the relegation matrix having amassed a paltry 15 points from 19 matches, vividly showing how well things had gone under Mangombe.
