Super 8 quarter-finals take centre stage as Northern Region’s finest battle for glory
The stage is set for an exciting weekend of knockout football as the Northern Region Soccer League Super 8 Cup gets underway on 1–2 August 2026, with the league’s top eight sides battling for a place in the semi-finals of the knockout tournament.
After an intense first half of the league campaign, Harare City, Cranborne Bullets, G&T Mining, CP Chemicals, Ngezi Platinum U19, Golden Eagles, Black Rhinos and Chingwere have earned the right to compete for the first piece of silverware of the season.
Beyond the quest for the trophy, individual brilliance will also be rewarded. Every Man of the Match from Match day one to the final, will receive a cash prize of US$100.
The tournament’s Golden Boot winner and Goalkeeper of the Tournament will each pocket $400, while the Player of the Tournament will earn $600. The Coach of the Tournament will walk away with $500.
Harare City vs Cranborne Bullets

Ngezi Platinum U19 vs Golden Eagles

Ngezi Platinum U19 have earned plenty of admirers with their fearless brand of football, while Golden Eagles possess the experience and tactical discipline required to thrive in knockout competition.

Black Rhinos vs Chingwere
