The Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League is set to welcome new clubs into its fold this Saturday, January, as it conducts an induction for the upcoming 2026 season.
The event will bring together teams like Bikita Minerals and GreenFuel, who were relegated from the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League in 2025, alongside existing clubs like Tenax, Masvingo United, Mutare City Rovers, and Tongogara United.
League Administrator Fungai Munyoro-Chingaira told Fanzone that the induction is crucial for orienting new clubs into the league’s rules and regulations.
“The induction is meant to officially orient new clubs into the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League,” said Munyoro-Chingaira.
“It helps clubs understand league rules and regulations, administrative procedures, matchday requirements, player and official registration, and overall expectations for the season.
”New clubs can expect guidance and support from the league administration, including fixture management, enforcement of competition rules, disciplinary processes, clear communication, and administrative oversight.
”The league will focus on key areas such as league rules, club compliance, player registration, and matchday operations during the induction.
