The Mighty Warriors are heading to the final of the Four-Nations tournament in Zambia, after a comprehensive 3-1 victory over Lesotho.

Rutendo Makore, Ethel Chinyerere, and captain Immaculate Msipa got the goals for the Mighty Warriors, in a dominant display which saw Sithethelelwe “Kwinji” Sibanda’s troops march to the decider in emphatic fashion.

Sibanda was naturally happy with how her charges fared, particularly on ball rotation and positional discipline, saying that is what brought them the victory.

“It was a good game. I’m happy, especially in terms of ball rotation from the team,” Sibanda said after the game.

“That was our game plan for the girls to have confidence and rotate the ball and they did that very well. Our challenge was finishing.

“We could have buried more goals. Nonetheless, it was a good game,” she added.

The Mighty Warriors now turn their attention to the Tuesday’s final against hosts Zambia at the Levi Mwanawasa Stadium.

The Chipolopolo Queens beat Kenya 4-1 on penalties, following a 1-1 stalemate in the second semi-final.
