Former Mutare City Rovers FC striker Tapiwa Mangezi is excited to join Bikita Minerals FC for the upcoming 2026 Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League season.
Mangezi, who scored 11 goals and registered 5 assists last season, is looking to replicate his form and help Bikita bounce back to the top-flight.
Speaking to Fanzone, Mangezi said: “My expectation is to score more goals than last season and to help the team bounce back in the PSL. I feel excited and hope new opportunities will come. My expectations are to score more goals than last season and to improve.”
Mangezi, who was voted amongst the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer Stars calendar and finished as a finalist in the final selection, revealed what motivated him to join Bikita Minerals FC: “What motivated me to join Bikita is I just want to get new experience.”
With Bikita Minerals FC aiming for a quick return to the PSL, Mangezi is under no pressure, but rather motivated to perform. “No that doesn’t put me under any pressure, in fact it motivates me to put out my best and work hard towards achieving my goals,” added Mangezi.
