Hardrock taking PSL, Munhumutapa and Chibuku with the same level of seriousness says Kaindu

Hardrock FC coach Kelvin Kaindu says they are taking all three competitions, the PSL, Munhumutapa Challenge Cup and Chibuku Super Cup seriously, and is fancying a possible treble in their debut season.
The Kasongo Golden Boys remain in contention for the PSL title, the Munhumutapa Challenge Cup and the 2026 Chibuku Super Cup. Hardrock FC have consistently ground out results and remain in the hunt across all three fronts.
In the PSL, they sit second with 51 points, two behind log leaders Scottland FC. Scottland also have a game in hand against Dynamos to be played on Wednesday. Hardrock FC’s match will be against FC Hunters on Saturday, 22 August at Rufaro Stadium
In the Munhumutapa Challenge Cup, Hardrock edged Kwekwe United 1-0 to progress to the Round of 16. Big PSL names including Dynamos and Highlanders have already been booted out of the tournament.

They repeated the same scoreline in the Chibuku Super Cup, beating Bulawayo Chiefs 1-0 courtesy of a penalty converted by Tinotenda Muringai. Kaindu is confident that his team’s consistency will carry them through to the business end of all three competitions.
“I think what is good is the consistency that we have shown in the last few games that we have played. It could have been a better advantage for us if these were cup games that we had won five in a row. That would have put us in a very strong position.”
“But it is also equally good because we have progressed to the second round of both the Munhumutapa and the Chibuku. And we just hope that we’ll be able to replicate the performance in the league as well. That is the most important thing for us now — to take this form into the PSL and keep pushing.”
