Highlanders Football Club has moved to end years of complaints over late merchandise after announcing Treasure Hearts Logistics as the club’s official kit and apparel supplier for the 2027 season.

The deal, which also involves sportswear giants Adidas, will see the logistics company responsible for supplying the club’s entire apparel ranging from match kits and training wear to tracksuits, warm-up gear, travel wear and accessories.

Acting Highlanders chairman Kindman Ndlovu said the club deliberately moved early to avoid the usual delays that have left the first team and supporters waiting.

“In the past we have always struggled to have our kit available to our teams, particularly the first team, before the start of the football season. So this time we decided to approach things differently,” said Ndlovu.

“We partnered with Treasure Hearts Logistics way early to give them time to help us acquire our 2027 season kit before the season starts.

“They will supply Adidas branded merchandise sourced from the licensed Adidas representative in the United States.

“We are targeting to launch the full 2027 range before the end of this year. The plan is for the men’s first team, women’s team, Bosso 90 and all junior teams to be kitted in Adidas,” added Ndlovu.

Bosso described the partnership as a turning point in the Bulawayo giants’ quest to end the kits crisis.

“This partnership represents an important step in Highlanders Football Club’s continued efforts to strengthen its professional structures and ensure that our players and technical teams are appropriately equipped both on and off the field,” Highlanders said in a statement.

It added that the deal also reflects “a shared commitment to building a professional and recognisable Highlanders identity through quality apparel that carries the heritage, colours and character” of the 100-year-old institution.

For seasons, Highlanders supporters have lamented the late arrival of kits, often only seeing new jerseys unveiled midway through the campaign.

“As the Club looks towards 2027, partnerships of this nature form an important part of our broader vision to strengthen the Highlanders brand, enhance the professional environment around the team and develop sustainable commercial relationships.”
