The Zimbabwe Premier Volleyball League (ZPVL) has announced its fixture list for the upcoming weekend, with matches scheduled across two days at UZ Courts. The competition will feature both men’s and women’s divisions playing simultaneously on two courts.
Saturday, July 26 Schedule
The weekend action begins on Saturday with four matches in each division. In the women’s competition, Court 1 will see Black Mambas face Chimoio at 8:30 AM, followed by Lycans versus UZ Wolves at 10:30 AM. The afternoon sessions feature Chimoio taking on Black Rhinos at 12:30 PM, with Vipers meeting Ravenclaw at 2:30 PM.
Meanwhile, Court 2’s women’s fixtures include Diamonds against Ravenclaw at 8:30 AM, Southern Aces versus Chapungu at 10:30 AM, Diamonds facing Harare City at 12:30 PM, and Black Mambas playing Southern Aces at 2:30 PM.
The men’s division on Saturday will feature Crocs against UZ Wolves and Black Mambas versus Titans in the morning sessions on Courts 1 and 2 respectively. Mid-morning matches include Chapungu facing Shalom and Chimoio taking on Ruwa. The day concludes with afternoon fixtures featuring Crocs versus Naba, Beitbridge Eagles against Black Rhinos, UZ Wolves meeting Titans, and Black Mambas playing Shalom.
Sunday, July 27 Action
Sunday’s schedule maintains the same format with matches beginning at 8:30 AM and running until 2:30 PM. The women’s division will see Vipers play UZ Wolves, Lycans face Ravenclaw, Diamonds meet Black Rhinos, Southern Aces take on Harare City, Lycans versus Harare City, Chimoio against Chapungu, UZ Wolves facing Diamonds, and Vipers meeting Black Mambas.
In the men’s competition, Sunday features Beitbridge Eagles against Ruwa, Crocs versus St Collins, Black Rhinos facing Shalom, Titans taking on Naba, Beitbridge Eagles meeting St Collins, Chapungu against Chimoio, Black Rhinos versus Titans, and Black Mambas facing Ruwa.
Tournament Organization
The fixtures are organized under the Zimbabwe Volleyball Association and represent the Premier Volleyball League competition. With matches running from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM across both days, the weekend promises intensive volleyball action with teams competing in a round-robin format across multiple time slots.
