Zero science, 15 goals in all competitions: Maswanhise fires Motherwell past Ross County

Warriors star Tawanda Maswanhise continues to make headlines in Scotland.

The 23-year-old, who has become a fan favorite in Zimbabwe after his brilliant performance against South Africa in the 2025 AFCON finals, capped by a spectacular solo goal despite the Warriors losing to Bafana Bafana, is ‘scoring for fun’ in the Scottish Premiership for Motherwell.

His solitary strike which sank Ross County in the Scottish Cup yesterday, was his 15th goal of the season in all competitions.

The Zimbabwean star has been involved in 17 goals in 27 appearances for Motherwell this season and showing no signs of stopping.

At the Ross County game at Fir Park yesterday, Celtic coach Martin O’Neil was spotted in the stands together with his assistant Mark Fotheringham, reportedly ‘scouting’ on Maswanhise.

Celtic are reportedly looking to lure the Warriors star in the upcoming January transfer window.
