Yadah Football Club have stretched their advantage at the top of the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League after a dominant 4-1 win over FC Wangu Mazodze at Heart Stadium.

The Miracle Boys now sit on 20 points from 8 games, opening a three-point gap as they remain unbeaten in 2026.

April Player of the Month Vincent Sango put up another stellar performance and was deservedly named Man of the Match.

Sango pulled the strings in midfield as Yadah raced into a 3-0 halftime lead before sealing it in the second half.

GreenFuel FC couldn’t keep pace after being held to a goalless draw by Renco Mine FC at Maramba Stadium.

Boys dze Nharo were lucky to escape with a point thanks to their goalkeeper, who saved two spot kicks to deny Renco Mine a famous win.

The result leaves Green Fuel FC on 16 points and slipping to third.

The big movers are Tenax CS FC. A 2-0 victory over Manica Diamonds U19 FC has lifted them to 17 points, pushing them into second place and leapfrogging Green Fuel on points.

Tenax have quietly built momentum and now look like genuine title contenders.

Bikita Minerals FC drop to fourth on 14 points after the weekend’s reshuffle, with the top four now separated by six points.

Masvingo United remain unbeaten in fifth on 13 points, but the spotlight is firmly on the leading trio.

Week 8 has rewritten the narrative. Yadah flexed their muscle with clinical finishing, Green Fuel survived at Maramba thanks to goalkeeping heroics, and Tenax made their statement with a clean sheet and three points.

With the gap widening and the chase tightening, every match from here feels like it carries extra weight.

More to come as the Eastern Region title race heats up.
