Tshipamba’s Manica Diamonds future uncertain as contract talks stall‎

‎Bapadi Tshipamba, the striker who joined Manica Diamonds in June last year from Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League side Tongogara United, is facing an uncertain future at the club.

‎His six-month contract expired on December 31, 2025 and talks for a renewal have stalled.

‎Tshipamba had a blistering start with Tongogara United, scoring 12 goals in 10 games, making him one of the most feared strikers in the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League.

‎Manica Diamonds secured his services, but his time with the Gem Boys was marked by limited appearances and he struggled to make an impact.

‎A well-placed source privy to ongoings at Manica Diamonds told Fanzone that head coach Tafadzwa Mashiri is not satisfied with Tshipamba’s progress.

“Mashiri isn’t happy with Bapadi’s progress. He’s looking to shake things up, and Tshipamba might be on his way out,” said the source.

‎Tshipamba’s manager, Johanne Mhlanga, expressed concern about the lack of communication from the club.

“I can confirm Tshipamba Babadi’s contract with Manica Diamond FC expired on 31 December 2025,” said Mhlanga.

‎”We haven’t heard from Manica Diamonds FC regarding their plans.
‎Tshipamba is available and ready to play in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

“As you know, he is one of the most skilled and lethal strikers in the country, Tshipamba is ready for the new season,” added Mhlanga.

‎Manica Diamonds has been active in the transfer market, signing several new players, including former FC Platinum midfielder Polyester Shoko, Marlon Maziri, Pascal Shumbaimwe, Darryl Zulu, Biggie Temera.

They also promoted Russell Kahiki from their developmental side Manica Diamonds U19 FC.
