Tadiwa Chakuchichi Joins ROC Nation Sports Management

Rising Zimbabwean footballer Tadiwa Chakuchichi has made a significant step in his young career by signing with ROC Nation Sports International, the globally recognised management agency owned by American music mogul Jay Z.

The 19-year-old winger, who plays for Scottland FC and the Zimbabwe Under-20 national team (the Young Warriors), becomes the first young Zimbabwean to join the agency’s growing African talent pool. ROC Nation confirmed this week that they are expanding their footprint on the continent, and Chakuchichi’s signing marks a notable move into Zimbabwean football.

The company, known for representing global superstars such as Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr and former Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, who now plays for Napoli, also added several promising prospects from across Africa. Among them are South Africa’s Emile Witbooi and Neo Bohloko, Ghana’s Joseph Narbi, and Ifeoluwa Olowoporoku of Nigeria.

Chakuchichi expressed his excitement about joining the elite management group, saying he feels this opportunity could be the start of something big. He’s optimistic that this new chapter could open doors to European football and commercial opportunities, and believes the agency’s track record speaks for itself when it comes to developing elite players.

The move is not only a personal milestone for Chakuchichi but also a promising sign for Zimbabwean football, which rarely sees players represented at this level of global sports management. All eyes will now be on the talented winger as he aims to make his mark both locally and abroad.
