Premiership debutants Scottland will face another stern test when they welcome Chicken Inn to Rufaro Stadium tomorrow.
The Tonderai Ndiraya-coached side appears to have found its rhythm and registered three wins on the trot before they were held to a goalless draw by Manica Diamonds at Sakubva last week.
After their impressive 2-0 victory over defending champions Simba Bhora two weeks ago, Ndiraya opined that his charges are now looking like a team, hence the evidence of three victories on the bounce.
They, however, face a Chicken Inn side struggling for consistency and in great need of a victory.
The Gamecocks are 12th on the table after 12 rounds of fixtures, having just won two.
Interestingly, one of their two victories was a 1-0 victory over Dynamos at Rufaro.
Joey Antipas’s men have been blowing hot and cold in the 2025 campaign.
They have lost their last two home matches at Luveve – identical 1-0 losses to log leaders MWOS and GreenFuel.
Last week’s defeat to the fuel merchants in particular resulted in the executive making some changes to the Antipas-led technical.
Assistant coach Fungai Kwashi was demoted to the juniors.
Scottland will be hoping that their star-studded attack comprising last year’s Soccer Star of the Year Walter Musona, Tymon Machope and Khama Billiat ticks.
Mabviravira are in second on the log standings, three points below their fiercest rivals, MWOS, whom they face in the eagerly awaited match day 14 fixture at Ngoni Stadium.
