Basic Rules

• Predict the final scores of tournament matches
• Only the result after 90 minutes (plus injury time) counts
• Extra time and penalty shootouts are not considered – the 90-minute score stands
• You can earn points for both perfect and partial predictions

1. Perfect Prediction (10 points)
   Morocco vs Mali: Predicted 1-1, Result 1-1
   You got the exact score right = 10 points
   With a joker, this would be worth 20 points!
2. Partial Prediction (7 points)
   Zimbabwe vs Algeria: Predicted 3-1, Result 2-1
   You got the winner right (5 points) + one team's goals correct (2 points) = 7 points
   With a joker, this would be worth 14 points
3. Winner Only (5 points)
   Egypt vs Ghana: Predicted 3-1, Result 4-0
   You only got the winner right = 5 points
   With a joker, this would be worth 10 points
4. Draw Predictions (5 points)
   Senegal vs Cameroon: Predicted 1-1, Result 2-2
   You correctly predicted a draw = 5 points
   With a joker, this would be worth 10 points

Ranking and Leaderboard

After each match your points and those of all other participants are calculated. The new leaderboard ranking is also drawn up.

Participating in a private league with friends or colleagues? You can view your position in that league via the private leagues page.

Game Rules

• In the Pride of Africa Predictor you predict the results of matches as accurately as possible.
• You can submit or adjust predictions until each match kicks off.
• You will receive 10 points for a perfect prediction, 7 points when you get the winner right and one team's goals correct, 5 points for only getting the winner right, and 2 points if only one team's goals are correct. If you predict a draw but the goals are not correct, you will receive 5 points.
• Results are based on 90 minutes plus injury time only. Extra time and penalties do not count – if a knockout match ends 1-1 after 90 minutes and goes to extra time/penalties, the result recorded is 1-1.
• Results and rankings will be processed as soon as possible after matches.
• Due to technical circumstances, predictions may occasionally not save. Always verify your predictions have been saved.
• No points will be awarded for abandoned matches that are not completed.
• If a match result is later changed by tournament organisers (regulatory decision), the original 90-minute result stands.
• This game is based on football knowledge and is not gambling.
• Participation gives the organisation the right to keep you informed via email of game updates, reminders, and selected promotions.
• During the game a knowledge quiz may be held among participants with extra points available. These points are added to your total.
• Fanzone.co.zw reserves the right to terminate, interrupt or change the game at its sole discretion without notice, without incurring any obligation to participants.
• It is not possible to correspond about the game outcome.

General Conditions

• Participation in the Pride of Africa Predictor is only possible online. You will need to provide your name, email address and telephone number.
• Participation is free.
• Participants must be at least 18 years old.
• Participants must be resident in Zimbabwe.
• In case of equal points, the player with more perfect predictions (10 points) ranks higher. If still tied, performance in any tiebreaker quiz applies. If still tied, a draw is made by an impartial computer program.
• Fanzone.co.zw can end the game early for legal reasons or external circumstances.

• Fanzone.co.zw reserves the right to change game conditions without liability.
• Fanzone.co.zw does not guarantee the website will always be available. Neither the organisation nor any companies or individuals it uses can be held responsible for network, computer, hardware or software problems.
• Zimbabwean law applies to this promotion. Disputes must be submitted to the competent court in Harare, Zimbabwe.
• Prizes won cannot be exchanged or cashed out.
• Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of winning. Prize winners must contact us within 30 days to claim their prize.
• Fanzone.co.zw employees, MWOS employees, their immediate families, prize sponsors and their respective agencies may play but are not entitled to win prizes. If placed in a winning position, the prize passes to the next eligible player.

Sweepstakes Prizes

Throughout the competition, Sweepstakes Prizes will be randomly drawn, giving all participants additional opportunities to win.

What Are Sweepstakes Prizes?

Sweepstakes Prizes are rewards given to participants selected through random drawings conducted at various times during the competition. These draws are held at the discretion of the organiser, with major prizes awarded at the conclusion of the competition.

How to Win Sweepstakes Prizes

To be eligible for a Sweepstakes Prize, participants must meet the following criteria:

• Active Participation: You must have submitted predictions for at least 50% of all matchdays up to each draw.
• Single Prize Limit: Once you've won a Sweepstakes Prize, you're not eligible to win another.

Winning a leaderboard prize does not exclude you from Sweepstakes Prizes. However, each participant can only win one Sweepstakes Prize during the competition.

Eligibility

All participants who have met the active participation requirement are automatically entered into Sweepstakes Prize draws. There is no additional action required.
