Highlanders midfielder Gillian Nyathi has joined Central Region Division One side Gwanda Pirates on loan and seeking for much needed game time.
Nyathi, who rose through the junior ranks of Highlanders, has had some challenges commanding a starting place at Bosso.
Speaking to Fanzone, Nyathi confirmed his move to Gwanda Pirates.
“ I have moved to Gwanda Pirates on loan. As for this season, I have nothing much to say. All I can say is I’m here to play good football, that’s all,” he said.
“You know, as a player at my age, you need game time, and that’s all for now, and that’s my first priority – to work hard and be the best player that I can be. I know I have what it takes.
The defensive midfielder insists he has no regrets over the move.
“Not that I can’t compete at Highlanders, but it is what it is, so I’m not complaining. They’re treating me good here,” said Nyathi.
