Lloyd Mutasa has three league medals he won as a player.
The former midfielder won the league title with his beloved Dynamos in 1994, 1995, and 1997.
That is how special Dynamos is to the down-to-earth and soft-spoken gaffer. He bleeds blue.
Samaria, as the season coach is affectionately known in the Zimbabwean football circles, also coached the Glamour Boys during two different stints, first in 2011 and then in 2018.
Mutasa is a Dynamos son through and through.
But on Monday, all that will not count, as he will be plotting the downfall of DeMbare.
Mutasa is now at the helm of ambitious Premiership debutants MWOS, with whom he has been for the last three years.
The Punters have had a fairytale start to the Premiership under Mutasa, as they currently top the log standings after six rounds of fixtures.
They (MWOS) welcome Dynamos to the recently homologated Ngoni Stadium on Monday, in what should be a thriller.
Naturally, Mutasa expects his charges to continue from where they left off when they edged Herentals College last week, especially now that they are playing at home in Norton.
“After a good start, four wins and two draws, and then meeting Dynamos at Ngoni Stadium, I think it’s befitting for us as a team and for our fans because they were clamoring to see big teams, and obviously Dynamos is one of the biggest teams,” said Mutasa.
“It’s a nice and befitting feeling to open our stadium against Dynamos.
“We need to get a result because history will also remember the first game at Ngoni, so it needs to be a win,” added Mutasa.
