Fanzone wrapped up the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season in unforgettable fashion this past weekend, hosting the eagerly anticipated MWOS PSL Predictor final prize-giving ceremony at the vibrant MWOS Ngoni Stadium. After months of nail-biting predictions, suspense-filled matchdays, and a fiercely competitive leaderboard, the best of the best finally gathered to celebrate their achievements — and collect some extraordinary prizes.
The turnout was impressive, with supporters filling the stands to witness the conclusion of a competition that has grown into a fan-favourite across Zimbabwean football. The top 16 predictors, whose accuracy and consistency carried them through the season, were honoured on stage in a festive, high-energy atmosphere.
Those ranked 16th to 7th walked away with brand-new televisions. Under the usernames Pablo, Baba Jadon, Events by Grace, Garnacho, Khumo, Jestina, Williammakina325, Mellz, Maddy04 and FOFO10, these fans proved their expertise week after week. Fifth and sixth place, Tichaona and Kingpard07, celebrated their impressive efforts with bicycles, while fourth place — Icon@505 — received a brand-new laptop.
The top three prizes drew huge applause. Third place, Mutsanya, claimed a generator, a practical and valuable reward. Second place, Odhanyc, rode off with a motorbike, and first place — the coveted Suzuki S-Presso — was won by simba, whose prediction skills placed him at the summit of the table.
Beyond the main leaderboard, the sweepstake winners also joined in on the celebrations. Rammy took home a laptop, Mochael1330 secured a generator, MgabeNdini won a motorbike, and the grand sweepstake prize — a Suzuki Eeco — was awarded to Junee.
Hosting duties were carried out by familiar Fanzone personalities Marc Pozzo, Larry Mangenje and Sips, who kept the crowd entertained throughout the ceremony. Their chemistry, humour, and passion for the game created an electric atmosphere befitting such a landmark event.
After the prize-giving, the festivities continued with the MWOS FC afterparty. Fans enjoyed live music performances before the MWOS FC technical team and players were officially presented with their Castle Lager PSL medals — a proud moment for the club and its supporters.
