Zimbabwe fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani has been signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of the 2026 Indian Premier League season. The franchise confirmed the move on Friday as they strengthen their pace attack for the upcoming campaign.
Standing at an imposing 6 ft 8 in, Muzarabani has developed a reputation in T20 cricket for generating steep bounce and striking at key moments in an innings. The Zimbabwe international brings plenty of experience, having taken more than 90 wickets in over 80 T20 Internationals at an average of around 21.
His recent form has been particularly impressive. During the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Muzarabani finished among the tournament’s top four wicket-takers, claiming 13 wickets in six matches and playing a major role in Zimbabwe reaching the Super Eight stage.
The pacer is expected to arrive in Kolkata on 17 March to join up with the squad ahead of the new IPL season.
