Mosi Rovers set for Southern Region Division One Return

Mosi Rovers are set to return to the Southern Region Division One after winning the Mat North Division Two championship.

The Victoria Falls-based side will be competing in the second tier division in the 2026 season.

Mosi Rovers chairman Justice Matshiya said they are ready for the season.

“As Mosi Rovers, we believed that Division One is our home, hence we fought tirelessly last season to get back” he told Fanzone.

“We are happy to be part of Division One for the 2026 season. Division One, unlike Division Two, requires a lot to be done for the team to fully compete, hence as a team, we are working tirelessly to achieve our objective,” added Matshiya.

Players who once donned the Mosi Rovers red strip include Bulawayo Chiefs’ left back Panashe Shoko and Yadah’s, Ryan Ncube.

The Southern Region Division One league 2026 season will kick off on March 28th.
