Mapeza praises ‘Priceless’ Billiat And Musona after CAF Champions League show

Scottland FC coach Norman Mapeza has described the influence of Khama Billiat and Knowledge Musona as ‘priceless’ after the duo inspired a 2-0 win over Petro de Luanda in the CAF Champions League.
Scottland took a major step towards the group stage with a commanding victory in the second preliminary round, first leg at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Harare-based outfit were made to work for the result against the Angolan giants, but their experience told in the end. Billiat broke the deadlock after being set up by substitute Walter Musona, before providing the assist for Knowledge Musona to double the lead and put the home side in control of the tie.
‘WHATEVER THEY BRING TO THIS CLUB IS PRICELESS’ SAYS NORMAN MAPEZA

Speaking after the match, Mapeza paid a glowing tribute to his talismen and said their value to the club cannot be measured.
Mapeza said : I spoke about it. I think whatever they bring to the team, it’s priceless. I can’t put a value on it. That experience, whatever they are bringing to this club, it doesn’t have a price, it’s priceless”.
Mapeza only joined Scottland in January, replacing Tonderai Ndiraya who delivered the club’s historic Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title in 2025.
The Harare giants have remained competitive this term, sitting second on the log with 61 points – five adrift of pacesetters Hardrock FC but with a game in hand.
At the same time, they are on the verge of making history on the continent. They are still in contention in the Munhumutapa Challenge Cup.
Sunday’s two-goal cushion over Petro de Luanda puts them in a strong position ahead of the return leg in Luanda this weekend, as they chase a place in the group phase for the first time and look to become the first Zimbabwean club to do so since FC Platinum.
