‎FC Hunters gear up for PSL debut with friendly clash‎

‎FC Hunters is set to face ZPC Kariba in a friendly match today at Rudhaka Stadium in Marondera, a key preseason test as they prepare for their maiden Castle Lager Premier Soccer League campaign.

‎Kick-off is slated for 9 am.

‎This will be their first pre-season preparation since their merger with N’ombeyaora became official a few weeks ago.

‎It will also serve as the first preparation springboard for head coach Nesbert “Yabo” Saruchera to assess his charges, bolstered by the signing of Denver Mukamba yesterday.

‎The PSL debutants will use Heart Stadium in Waterfalls as their home ground for now, pending renovations at Rudhaka Stadium.

‎In an exclusive interview with Fanzone, FC Hunters’ Second National Committee Member Simbarashe “Runos” Runodada expressed excitement about the developments: “As a National Committee member, I am happy with this development that is happening, and I am looking forward to working hard with the bosses to push this thing as a whole.”

‎Runodada, the famed former Chairman of FC Hunters’ supporters, also revealed that though they will be using Heart Stadium as their home ground for PSL matches, Rudhaka is still very much in the picture. “I am happy Marondera is still on the map, yes, for the meantime our home ground will be Heart Stadium, but I am positive the bosses tell me they are coming to Marondera for home matches,” he said.

‎On tomorrow’s ZPC Kariba clash, Runodada urged fans to come and witness their preparations with MWOS FC in the horizon. “I am urging everyone who is free to come and attend this match and see the preparations we are doing for the PSL, and our first match against MWOS FC is a must-win,” he added.
