Fanzone PSL Team of the Week: Matchday 24

Matchday 24 gave us drama, goals, upsets, and individual brilliance — and the Fanzone Team of the Week is packed with stars who made all the difference for their teams. From stunning goals to game-saving tackles, here’s who made the cut:

Goalkeeper – Prince Tafiremutsa (Dynamos)
Dynamos walked away with all three points thanks to Tafiremutsa’s crucial late save that preserved their lead. Composed and commanding — just what DeMbare needed.

Defenders

  • Emmanuel Jalai (Dynamos) – A rock at the back for Dynamos. Not only did he keep things tight, but he also played a key role in maintaining the clean sheet.
  • Talent Chamboko (Ngezi Platinum) – Defenders don’t usually make saves, but Chamboko’s heroic second-half clearance was just as good as a keeper’s stop.
  • Proud Gorekore (Kwekwe United) – A highlight-reel free-kick and a solid shift at right-back earns him a well-deserved spot.

Midfielders

  • Tinashe Mavhudzi (Ngezi Platinum) – A menace on the wing, capping off his performance with a clinical goal.
  • Mason Mushore (Highlanders) – Calm, collected, and creative in the middle of the park.
  • Mafious Chihweta (Scottland FC) – A dream debut with two sensational assists. This man has arrived!
  • Prince Mahembe (Herentals) – A goal and an assist — what more could you ask from your playmaker?

Forwards

  • Walter Musona (Scottland FC) – Led by example with a brilliant finish and tireless attacking play. A captain’s performance.
  • Tymon Machope (Scottland FC) – Two goals against FC Platinum in that 5-2 win. Enough said.
  • Clive Rupiya (Greenfuel) – Found the net at the crucial moment to seal all three points.
