Fanzone PSL Team of the Week – Matchday 21

Matchday 21 delivered a thrilling round of fixtures in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, with standout individual performances deserving recognition in our Fanzone Team of the Week.

Between the sticks, CAPS United’s Stephen Kwaku earns the goalkeeper spot after an impressive display against TelOne. His crucial saves kept Caps in the contest and helped secure a valuable point.

In defence, Erick Dombo of Herentals was a pillar of strength, while Precious Phiri of FC Platinum not only marshalled the backline effectively but also scored against MWOS FC. Kevin Moyo was key to Scottland’s defensive solidity, playing a vital role in their victory over Highlanders.

The midfield boasts a blend of creativity and power. Davison Marowa of FC Platinum was outstanding with both a goal and assist to see off MWOS FC. Donald Mudadi dictated play for Simba Bhora and was named man of the match in their win over Dynamos. Ronald Chitiyo of GreenFuel scored a stunning 25-yard screamer to light up the weekend. Kingsley Mureremba brought the spark for Scottland, especially in the second half against Highlanders.

Up front, Terrence Dzvukamanja led the charge with a brilliant brace for Scottland scoring two goals. Mafious Chiweta of Highlanders was a constant threat, scoring and giving the Scottland defence a tough time throughout. Rounding off the forward line is Tawanda Macheke of TelOne, whose clever touches and sharp efforts on goal kept the CAPS defence on their toes.
