Highlanders midfielder Mason Mushore has been named the Fanzone Player of the Week after a brilliant performance in the Chibuku Super Cup against Herentals. Mushore was a constant threat, asking questions of the Students’ defence and creating openings for his teammates throughout the game.
With the score locked and time running out, Mushore stepped up in the 83rd minute to deliver the decisive moment. His perfectly struck free kick curled over the wall and past goalkeeper Tinotenda Takarinda, sparking wild celebrations among the Bosso faithful at Nyamhunga.
Named man of the match, Mushore’s display was a reward for his consistency and hard work, with his late winner sealing Highlanders’ passage into the quarter-finals.
