Dynamos v MWOS: Father and son in make or break situations on the opposite side

Lloyd and Wisdom Mutasa, naturally, as father and son, share a common bond.

Anyone who has proper eyesight and normal vision might even argue that Wisdom would easily win a Look Like Lloyd contest.

What unites them is the love they have for each other, as well as their admiration for the beautiful game of football.

But this Saturday at Rufaro Stadium, it’s fair to say they will somewhat be wishing for each other’s downfall.

Lloyd is the head coach of league debutants MWOS, who desperately need to win against Dynamos, to keep alive their hope of becoming the first team to win the championship in their debut season, since Black Rhinos in 1984.

MWOS started the season brilliantly, but just two points in their last four matches have ignited debate on their title credentials.

Therefore, a win for MWOS against a struggling Dynamos side will revamp their title hopes.

Wisdom and his Dynamos teammates, on the other hand, are living dangerously and cannot afford to lose to MWOS.

A defeat for DeMbare, which would be their 12th this season, will all but seal their fate as far as relegation is concerned.

A defeat to MWOS means DeMbare would have to win 8 of their remaining 10 matches to entertain any chance of surviving the chop.

Wisdom joined DeMbare three weeks ago after a short stint in Botswana and looked lively in the goalless draw with Manica Diamonds at Rufaro last week.

Both Lloyd and Wisdom Mutasa find themselves in make-or-break situations at Rufaro on Saturday, and there is no room for sentimental hesitation.
