Out of sorts Harare giants have appointed their former striker Takesure Chinyama as their assistant coach and strikers coach.
The Glamour Boys have found the going tough in the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer season, having won just one of their ten matches so far.
Worryingly for DeMbare, they have not scored in their last six matches, prompting the Moses Maunganidze-led executive to seek solutions.
“Dynamos Football Club is committed to continuous improvement and addressing the challenges the club is currently facing in the league. As part of a strategic step-by-step approach to enhance our technical department, the club is pleased to announce the appointment of Takesure Chinyama as the new strikers’ development coach/assistant coach,” the club said in a statement.
“Chinyama, a prolific striker during his playing days, played for Dynamos FC among other clubs locally, then Poland and South Africa, with a career spanning almost two decades. Chinyama, a holder of Uefa B licence, transitioned into coaching after an illustrious career. His expertise and experience will be a valuable addition to the team as we work towards turning around our performance.
“This appointment is part of the club’s broader plan to reinforce the technical setup, while maintaining stability within the squad.
“The existing technical team, led by head coach Lloyd Chigowe, remains in charge, with our full support as we prepare for the crucial upcoming fixture against Triangle FC this Sunday.”
Dynamos travel to Gibo this weekend, where they face relegation-threatened Triangle.
Standing in the way of Dynamos is their former coach Genesis ‘Kaka’ Mangombe, who is looking to steer the Sugar Boys to safety following an unsuccessful stint in the Tanzanian Premier League.
