Bournemouth issue their stance on in-form Antoine Semenyo

Bournemouth’s stance on Antoine Semenyo’s future has been revealed in a new report, as Tottenham and other Premier League clubs continue to circle the winger.

Semenyo has arguably been the standout performer over the first two months of the Premier League season, consistently delivering influential displays for Bournemouth. His pace, power, and eye for goal have made him a constant threat to opposition defenses, earning him widespread praise from fans and pundits alike.

In fact, only Manchester City’s Erling Haaland has found the net more times than the Bournemouth forward, with Semenyo already racking up six goals so far this season — a remarkable return that highlights his growing influence and confidence in front of goal.

In recent days, reports have emerged suggesting that Tottenham, Manchester United, and Liverpool are all keeping a close eye on Semenyo as the January transfer window approaches.

By all accounts, several sources claim that Tottenham have now moved to the front of the queue in the race to sign the Bournemouth winger when the transfer window opens in January.

talkSPORT has now confirmed that the 25-year-old continues to attract significant transfer interest from several top clubs.

The report identifies Liverpool as the club showing the strongest interest in Semenyo, who is reportedly valued at around £75 million.

However, the outlet notes that Bournemouth are in a strong negotiating position, having only secured the Ghana international on a new five-year contract back in July.

The report states that Bournemouth have no plans to part ways with their star attacker, emphasizing that the South Coast club intends to keep both Semenyo and manager Andoni Iraola as part of their long-term project.

It appears that the North London side has the financial muscle to complete a deal for the Bournemouth forward, especially after receiving a £100 million cash injection from the Lewis family last week.

However, Bournemouth has little reason to entertain any offers, especially midway through the season, making a potential deal far more likely next summer.

Even if Tottenham are willing to meet the asking price, the Lilywhites are expected to face stiff competition for Semenyo’s signature.

Unless Spurs prove this season that they can genuinely compete with the Premier League’s elite for major honors, the club could find it difficult to persuade the Ghanaian forward to make the move to N17.
