Are the ‘Big 3’ all in the relegation dogfight?

As it stands, mathematically, the traditional giants of Zimbabwean football- Dynamos, Highlanders and CAPS United might all be in the relegation matrix with 10 games to go in the 2025 Castle Lager Premiership.

Dynamos, despite edging MWOS 1-0 at Rufaro on Saturday, thanks to a Temptation Chiwunga second-half penalty, are far from safety.

DeMbare have 19 points from 24 matches and need a miracle to avoid the chop.

The troubled Harare giants need to win at least seven of their last 10 matches to guarantee their Premiership status.

Their crosstown rivals, CAPS, are equally in trouble.

Despite being 10th on the table, only three points separate them from 14th-placed Triangle United and 15th-placed Yadah.

If the Miracle Boys beat CAPS at Rufaro on match day 25, the Green Machine will be back in the drop zone.

Just like CAPS, Highlanders have amassed 28 points and are nowhere near safety despite being in 9th position on the table.

Bosso have won only one of their last eight matches.

They had to come back from behind to force a 1-1 draw against Ngezi Platinum Stars at Babourfields yesterday.

If the Bulawayo giants fail to beat TelOne on match day 25, they might sink into the relegation zone.
